Job Responsibilities
As a Deputy Director (Data Engineer Lead) at NADRA, the selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing data engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data platforms.
- Building and optimizing data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes for high-volume systems.
- Ensuring data quality, security, scalability, and performance across NADRA’s core systems.
- Collaborating with software engineers, analysts, and management to align data solutions with organizational objectives.
- Designing data architectures that support national-level identity and registration systems.
- Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements where required.
- Preparing technical documentation and reports for senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with government data standards, security policies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree will be preferred.
- Strong academic background from a recognized university.
Experience & Skills
- Extensive professional experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles.
- Hands-on expertise with data platforms, databases, and large-scale data processing systems.
